BOLTT Information

BOLTT is a fast-paced, biannual conference hosted in TORONTO and OTTAWA.

BOLTT is a fast-paced, biannual conference delivered by digital learning teachers and staff, transforming how our community connects and collaborates. Our mission is to spark ideas, create connections, and accelerate learning supporting improved outcomes for education staff, teachers and learners.

The OeLC is excited to announce the return of the very popular BOLTT Toronto Fall and BOLTT Ottawa Spring Conferences for the 2024-25 school year. BOLTT – Bringing Online Teams Together – provides rich opportunities for learning from and collaborating with eLearning colleagues as we work together to build knowledge and skills and harness the power of learning to Educate, Engage and Empower our learners.

Some exciting features of the BOLTT Toronto Fall Conference include:
  • An engaging keynote speaker (see the Toronto Keynote Speaker page for details)
  • A streamlined registration process for conference registrants.
  • Options for either in-person or virtual BOLTT attendance. Please note the following regarding virtual attendance:
    • Sessions available to virtual attendees will be a live-stream of in-person sessions.  As a result, all workshop/session presenters must attend the conference in person.
  • A variety of payment options including self-payment with a credit card or invoice, or board invoice.

Sessions include:
  • innovative tech-enabled practices in course development, delivery, assessment, communication, and student tracking and reporting in an eLearning, hybrid learning, or blended learning, or other tech-enabled environment for elementary, secondary, or adult learners, or for special programs
  • impactful tools to enhance virtual course instruction or assessment
  • unique online learning programs, projects, and initiatives
  • sharing, collaborating and building best practices.
